In the Iranian city of Tabriz (Province of East Azerbaijan) with a population of more than one million people, a fighter jet crashed during a training flight.
The fatal incident took place in a busy neighborhood, Mehr news agency reported.
The F-5 ("Tiger") crashed into a gymnasium and exploded, as video footage of eyewitnesses shows.

Both pilots and one civilian were killed, reports IRIB. The building sustained significant damage. At least one car parked nearby was also burned.
