Ukraine has already recorded 4.38 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of more than 38 thousand in a day, February 8. According to the Ministry of Health, this is more than the day before.
There have been 240 lethal cases a day. There were 3,308 children and 1,076 health workers among the sickened overnight.
"During the day February 8 in Ukraine recorded 38,257 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the report of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Also over the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 4,385 people;
- fatal cases - 240;
- recovered - 17,063 persons.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- fell ill - 4,380,047 people;
- 3 713 348 people recovered;
- fatal cases - 101887;
- PCR tests were conducted - 18,758,148.
In the last 24 hours the largest number of confirmed cases has been registered in Kiev city (3684), Odesa (3587), Kharkiv (2293), Lviv (2161) and Dnipropetrovsk (2111) regions.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with coronavirus in the world, Ukraine is 18th in terms of prevalence and 16th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
