Ukraine has already recorded 4.16 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of almost 40,000 per day, February 2, which is an anti-record since the beginning of the pandemic.
Of those who became ill in the past 24 hours: children - 4,446, health workers - 1,035. The second day in a row 4 thousand hospitalized and two hundred deaths. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day of February 2 in Ukraine recorded 39,620 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the message.
Also over the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 4 136 people;
- fatal cases - 210;
- 9,380 people have recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 4,169,897 people fell ill;
- 3 650 854 people recovered;
- fatal cases - 100 809
- 18,308,056 PCR-tests were conducted.
Over the last 24 hours the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Odessa (2982), Zhytomyr (2933), Kyiv city (2437), Ivano-Frankivsk (2423) and Lviv (2369) regions.
According to Worldometer, a resource that tracks the situation with coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in terms of prevalence and 16th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
