On Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, acting OSCE chairman Zbigniew Rau and EU High Representative Josep Borrell the latest diplomatic contact with the Russian side. This is the subject of an official statement from the U.S. State Department, released Tuesday following the communication.

"The Secretary of State reaffirmed his support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and discussed contacts with Russia against the background of Russia's unprovoked military build-up on Ukraine's borders," the State Department said.

It is reported that all sides agreed "to continue close coordination and also expressed commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to prevent further aggression against Ukraine.
