More than 3.7 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been diagnosed in Ukraine. The daily increase on January 9 was almost 2 thousand, which is less than a day earlier.
Of those sick overnight, 94 were children and 41 were medical workers. The number of people recovering from the disease is higher than the number of new cases. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day on January 9 in Ukraine recorded 1,969 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the message.
Also over the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 1,064 people;
- fatal cases - 86;
- 3,517 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- got sick - 3,704,442 people;
- 3,514,786 people recovered;
- 97,325 deaths;
- PCR tests were conducted - 16,966,846.
During the last 24 hours the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kiev city (398), Kharkiv (192), Kiev (135), Lviv (130) and Odessa (113) regions.
