In the Kazakh city of Almaty, on Thursday morning, January 6, there was an exchange of fire between security forces and protesters on the square of the republic, Novoe Vremya reported.
According to local media, about 50 vehicles, including APCs, armored vehicles and military trucks with armed security forces, were brought to the square and surrounded the square by the perimeter. It is noted that there are about 200 armed men in the center of the square who took part in the protests and pogroms.
The media claim that about 10 shots were fired on the square, but not by the security forces.
