On January 5, 6,632 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease were registered in Ukraine. It should be noted that in the previous day the figure was 4,571 new patients.
This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day on January 05 in Ukraine recorded 6 632 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (of which children - 240, medical workers - 182)," - said in the message.
Also in the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 2 028 people;
- fatalities - 187;
- 9,121 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- fell ill - 3,689,291 people;
- 3,500,914 people recovered;
- 96 896 fatal cases;
- PCR tests carried out - 16,898,750.
Recall that since December 6, new quarantine rules came into force, providing for increased restrictions in the "yellow" zones. So, visiting public events, cinemas, theaters, catering establishments and gyms are allowed only if 100% of groups and visitors have at least one dose of vaccination, a negative test or a certificate of convalescence.
As of December 30, all regions of Ukraine are in the "yellow" zone.
