On January 4, 4,571 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine per day, while in the previous day the figure was 1,746 new patients. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Among the newly detected patients are 210 children and 112 health workers.
Also in the last day:
- hospitalized persons with confirmed and suspected cases 1,366
- fatal cases - 273
- recovered - 8,439.
For the entire duration of the pandemic in the country:
- 3,682,659 were sickened - 3,682,659
- recovered - 3 491 793
- fatal cases - 96,709
During the last day the greatest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kiev (1344), Poltava (273), Lviv (210), Kiev (199) and Kharkiv regions (178).
