Ukraine has already recorded 3.65 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of 5.4 thousand a day, December 28, which is more than a doubling of the previous day.
Of those who have fallen ill in the past day: 353 children and 98 health workers, the number of those who have recovered is higher than the number of new cases. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day on December 28 in Ukraine recorded 5,454 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the message.
Also over the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 1 153 people;
- fatal cases - 307;
- 12,352 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- got sick - 3,654,690 people;
- 3,449,880 people were cured;
- 95,412 deaths;
- PCR tests were conducted - 16,724,734.
During the last day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kiev city (1113), Odessa (642), Donetsk (443), Cherkassy (387), Poltava (387) regions.
