Ukraine has already registered 3.647 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19. The daily increase on December 26 was 1.8 thousand, which is less than a day earlier.
The number of those who have recovered is higher than the number of new cases. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day on December 26 in Ukraine recorded 1,864 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (of which children - 138, health workers - 12)," - said in the message.
Also in the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized-1,053 people;
- deaths-133;
- 4,527 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- fell ill - 3,646,988 people;
- 3,432,739 people recovered;
- 94,971 deaths;
PCR tests performed - 16,678,842.
Meanwhile, a full course of vaccination against coronavirus disease COVID-19 has been given to 14.5 million people in Ukraine since late February. At the same time, a total of 28 million vaccinations have been given, of which about 29,000 have been given in the last 24 hours.
"More than 28 million vaccinations against COVID-19 have been performed in Ukraine since the beginning of the vaccination campaign! During the day on December 26 in Ukraine: 29,476 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. The first dose was given to 8,776 people, the second dose to 20,434 people, an additional dose to 88 people and a revaccinal dose to 178 people," the report says.
