"During the day on December 19 in Ukraine recorded 2,536 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the message.
Also over the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 1,241 people;
- fatal cases - 157;
- 6,690 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- got sick - 3 610 687 people;
- 3 338 555 people recovered;
- 93,262 deaths;
- PCR tests were conducted - 16,503,941.
During the last day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in the city of Kyiv (497), Volyn (170), Kharkiv (133), Cherkasy (132) and Lviv (124) regions.
Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health, the number of vaccinations against COVID-19 has dropped below 40 thousand in the last 24 hours.
A full course of vaccinations against coronavirus disease COVID-19 has been given to nearly 13 million people in Ukraine since late February. At the same time, a total of almost 27.4 million were vaccinated, of which in the last 24 hours - 36 thousand, most - the second dose.
"During the day on December 19 in Ukraine 36,027 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. 11,041 people received the first dose, 24,986 people were fully immunized, and 0 people received an additional dose," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
