On December 16, the UN General Assembly approved a Russian resolution on combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices. The document was not supported by Ukraine and the United States.
Representatives of 130 countries supported the Russian resolution and 49 abstained. Ukraine and the USA voted against it.
The resolution recommends that countries take measures "to prevent the revision of the results of World War II and the denial of crimes against humanity and war crimes.
