Ukraine has already recorded 3.46 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of 13.5 thousand a day, December 1, the increase compared to the previous day. Of those sick overnight: children - 1,346, health workers - 240.
The number of those recovered is higher than the number of new cases. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
"During the day on December 1 in Ukraine recorded 13,531 new confirmed case of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - reported in the Ministry of Health.
Also over the past 24 hours:
- hospitalized - 3,003 persons;
- fatal cases - 525;
- 23,535 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- fallen ill - 3,463,872 persons;
- 2 995 727 people recovered;
- 87,057 deaths;
- PCR tests carried out - 15,962,709.
Over the past 24 hours, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in the city of Kiev (1,418), Donetsk (803), Zhytomyr (743), Lviv (729), and Zaporizhzhia (709) regions.
Meanwhile, it became known that the number of COVID-19 vaccinations dropped by almost 10% in the middle of the week. According to the Ministry of Health, a full course of vaccination against coronavirus disease COVID-19 has been given to 11.4 million people in Ukraine since late February. At the same time, nearly 25 million people have been vaccinated, of which more than 210 thousand were vaccinated during the last day, which is 9.68% less compared to the previous day.
