Turkey banned the sale of air tickets to Belarus to citizens of Iraq, Syria and Yemen

General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Turkey has ordered to ban the sale of tickets for citizens of Iraq, Syria and Yemen to Belarus. This was stated by the head of the International Policy Bureau under the President of Poland, Jakub Kumoch.

"General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Turkey has issued an order to ban the sale of tickets for citizens of Iraq, Syria and Yemen, who intend to travel to Belarus," said Kumoh, noting that the ban applies to both Turkish Airlines and Belavia, as well as all the airports. The ban will remain in effect until the decision to cancel it.

Earlier, Turkish Airlines confirmed that it would not sell tickets to Belarus to citizens of Iraq, Syria and Yemen, except for the holders of diplomatic passports.

On behalf of President Andrzej Duda, Kumoch thanked "all those who participated in the conversations about the case.
