Ukraine has already recorded 3 million cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of over 27,000 during the week of 3 February - the first time since the start of the pandemic. The number of cases of disease during last week: 1787 children, 426 health workers.
During the day over 5.4 thousand people were hospitalized. The number of fatal accidents during the day was 699. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports this.
"During the day of February 3 Ukraine reported 27,377 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - the Ministry of Health informed.
Also last weekend:
- 5,472 people were hospitalized;
- Fatal cases - 699;
- 12,464 people were infected.
During the whole period of the pandemic in Ukraine:
- 3,006,463 people became ill;
- 2,479,138 persons were affected;
- Fatal accidents - 70 146;
- 14,658,956 PLR tests were conducted.
Last week the greatest number of confirmed cases was registered in the Dnipropetrovsk (2254), Odessa (1899) regions, the city of Kiev (1836), Kharkiv (1656) and Zhytomyr (1559) regions.
