Bulgaria put Ukraine in the "red zone"

Ukraine has been included by Bulgaria into the "red zone" and since October 30, only persons with permanent and long-term residence status in Bulgaria and members of their families will be allowed to enter the country, the Ukrainian embassy in Bulgaria said.

"The aforementioned persons will be allowed to enter the territory of Bulgaria after presenting a valid EU digital COVID certificate for vaccination or disease transfer or similar document, simultaneously with a negative PCR test result for COVID-19, which is made 72 hours before entering the country and certified by a valid EU digital COVID certificate for COVID-19 testing or a similar document containing the same data as the valid EU digital COVID certificate for COVID-19 testing," the embassy said.

Diplomats also pointed out that children aged 12-18 fall under the requirements of the test or other COVID document. If they do not provide such a document, they must be under a 10-day quarantine. And children under 12 years old are allowed to enter Bulgarian territory without providing COVID-19 documents.
