Carriers will not be held liable for passengers' lack of COVID documents

 Responsibility for passengers who do not have COVID documents was removed from the carriers by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Changes have been made to the decree on quarantine, says the Ministry of Health.

 Now, when traveling by bus between regions, the passengers themselves are responsible for having the necessary documents: a certificate of vaccination or a negative test for coronavirus. Carriers are no longer liable for passengers' lack of these documents. However, carriers should inform passengers that they must have the appropriate documents:

- An international or domestic COVID vaccination certificate issued through Dia;

- A foreign COVID certificate;

- Vaccine dose receipt document - Form 063-O;

- International certificate of vaccination, which you can get from your family doctor;

- negative result of PCR test or express test for COVID-19, which are valid for 72 hours.

It was previously reported that motor carriers who carry passengers through the regions for lack of necessary documents are fined from 17 up to 34 thousand UAH. There have already been cases of refusal of carriers to go on a line on the central bus station of Kiev because of it.
