Today's meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, which will take place at 16.00, is reported on Twitter, on the page of the National Security and Defense Council.

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, spoke about the possible agenda of the meeting, which will include issues of smuggling and use of Ukrainian subsoil.

A briefing will be held at the end of the meeting. It is scheduled to begin at 18.30.

The agenda is not yet known for sure, but some assumptions have already appeared on social networks.

According to such assumptions, the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council may discuss the epidemic of the country, the spread of coronavirus, energy, the army and tariff policy, sanctions.

It is assumed that the President of Ukraine wants to make sanctions the main point of view at today's meeting. But not everyone around Zelensky agrees with him, believing that now is not the time to make this problem a priority. It is assumed that the accident that happened to the Balta ship will be included in the consideration.

In early October, on the 5th, a presidential decree put into effect a decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions on 95 people, including citizens of Ukraine and Russia. These are persons who are related to the holding of elections in Crimea to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
