«For the day of October 12, 2021 in Ukraine recorded 16,309 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19,» - said the Ministry of Health on its Facebook page.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kharkiv (1526), Odesa (1525), Dnipropetrovsk (1,344), Zaporizhia (1048) oblasts and in the city of Kyiv (978).
Meanwhile, the rate of vaccination is increasing. According to the Ministry of Health, the full course of vaccination against coronavirus COVID-19 in Ukraine since the end of February received more than 6.2 million people. At the same time, in total, more than 13.9 million vaccinations have been given, for the last day of which – almost 153 thousand, which is 24% more than the day before, most – the first dose.
«152,703 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. 79,515 people who received full immunization received a single dose – 73,188 people,» the Ministry of Health said.
According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, 97% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 in September were unvaccinated.
