US President Donald Trump states that he will invite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the planned G20 summit in Miami. According to him, he sees no problem with this.
At a press conference, Trump was asked if he would invite Zelenskyy to the G20 summit, given that the US has already invited Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
"Yes, absolutely, no problem," Trump noted.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Washington could invite Zelenskyy to the G20 leaders' summit scheduled for December, provided it would yield positive results.
At the same time, Trump stated that he does not know whether Putin would agree to a trilateral meeting with Zelenskyy in Miami.
The United States will host the G20 leaders' summit on December 14-15, 2026, in Miami, Florida.
