President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine will under no circumstances allow itself to be dragged into the "diesel deal" recently struck between US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Zelenskyy criticized Washington's decision to ease sanctions on Russian oil exports in exchange for fuel supplies, calling it a "show of weakness" and a "gift to Putin" that essentially funds the prolongation of the war.
He emphasized that Kyiv will not compromise its national security and will resume retaliatory strikes on Russian oil refineries unless Moscow halts its attacks on Ukraine's power grid.
