The Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on October 10 claimed the lives of 20 civilians. The death toll may rise, according to information based on the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"As a result of the Russian airstrike, the death toll has risen to 20 people, including three children," the statement reads.
According to the latest information, another 18 civilians were injured, including three children.
The State Emergency Service managed to rescue three people. Psychologists also provided assistance to 35 citizens.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
On the morning of October 10, Russian forces carried out an attack on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in the partial destruction of the entrance of a five-story building and damage to other nearby residential buildings.
