On the night of May 22, the Russian army attacked Sumy region with kamikaze drones, as a result of which the regional center and several other cities were cut off. This was reported by the head of the city's military administration, Oleksiy Drozdenko.
“Due to the enemy attack, the city of Sumy does not receive electricity. We are waiting for the power to be restored and are primarily providing critical infrastructure,” he wrote.
Around 01:00, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that the enemy had struck at the power facilities of Shostka and Konotop.
Specialists are also working there to restore power supply.
Later, the Sumy RMA informed that power supply was restored in Sumy, Romny and Okhtyrka districts.
