Pavliuk spoke about Russia's plans for Kharkiv and Sumy - The Times

According to commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavliuk, Russian special services are developing plans to capture Kharkiv or Sumy, but the degree of seriousness remains unknown.

In an interview with The Times, Pavliuk reveals that Russia's main goals for 2024 include the full occupation of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as Zaporizhzhia region, if successful.

He also notes that Russian forces have a ten-to-one advantage in artillery and air power. However, Pavliuk notes that an aid package from the US and EU could give Ukraine a strategic initiative.

According to him, the current war is different from the one in 2022 and requires new strategies and approaches. The commander urged not to rely on external assistance alone, as Ukraine must be prepared for any situation.

Earlier we reported that The Economist published an interview with Vadym Skibitskyi, representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in which he expressed a number of important thoughts.
