On the night of May 1, explosions occurred in the Russian city of Ryazan. The Main Directorate of Intelligence attacked the Ryazan Oil Refinery with drones. There are also reports of an attack on a refinery in the Voronezh region. The media reported this with reference to their sources.
“The military target in Ryazan was hit. There is significant damage, it was bright,” the source said.
It is worth noting that the refinery in Ryazan belongs to Rosneft. Most of the products produced at this refinery are exported.
The consequences of the attack on the oil refinery in the Voronezh region are being clarified.
Russian authorities confirmed the night attack. The Russian Defense Ministry reported the downing of 6 UAVs: three over the territory of Voronezh region, one over the territory of Ryazan region, one over the territory of Belgorod region and one over the territory of Kursk region.
