Fedorov: Ukraine has drones capable of flying more than 1000 km

Ukraine produces unmanned aerial vehicles that can cover more than a thousand kilometers. This was stated by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in an interview with Welt.

Asked by a journalist about attacks on oil refineries and other targets in Russia and the use of drones for this purpose, the minister replied that "the military can better comment on the details of these operations."

However, he noted that Ukraine has increased the production of long-range drones tenfold compared to last year.

"Most of the drones used have a range of 700 to 1,000 kilometers. But now there are models that can fly more than 1,000 kilometers," Fedorov explained.

He believes that the first prototypes of artificial intelligence drones could appear on the battlefield by the end of 2024. However, not in large numbers.

In addition, the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation is convinced that the situation on the battlefield and the outcome of this war depend on the development of technology. Although, in his opinion, it is difficult to say who will win the technological war.
