Kyiv CMA claims threat of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance reconnaissance groups breaking into the capital

At a meeting of the Defense Council in Kyiv, a number of decisions were made to ensure the security of the city due to the threat of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups entering the capital and Russia's threats to intensify missile attacks. This was reported by the KCMA.


The head of the KCMA Serhiy Popko noted that the threat of attempts to penetrate the city by Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, as well as the involvement of Russian special services agents and other hostile elements to destabilize the situation in the capital, cannot be ruled out.


According to KCMA, the Kyiv Defense Council adopted a number of decisions, including:

  • to urgently work out the issue of holding further events in Kyiv that involve a large number of people;
  • to review regulatory documents on the life of the capital's citizens regarding the operation of public transport, sports, cultural, educational, medical, and entertainment events, as well as in crowded places to ensure the safety of citizens;
  • all power and military structures of the city of Kyiv, in accordance with their powers, to increase attention to crowded places;
  • all responsible structures and balance holders of civil defense facilities to ensure constant access to shelters for the population.

 

Social media will also be monitored separately for the spread of disinformation, provocations and other information aimed at destabilizing the situation in the capital.
