Ukrainian Armed Forces missile strike during award ceremony in Olenivka: Russian media report 19 dead

Ukrainian defenders fired two missiles at the Russian occupiers when they were holding an award ceremony in Olenivka, Donetsk region. As a result, 19 Russian servicemen were killed. Another 12 were injured. This was reported by Russian media and Telegram channels. At the same time, the information about the attack has already been confirmed by Ukraine's traitor and former MP Oleg Tsarev. 


It is noted that the incident occurred on Tuesday, February 27, at about 19:00. The Russian command was holding a ceremony to award individual brigades for their distinction. However, a missile strike from the Ukrainian Armed Forces interrupted the ceremony.


The attack targeted the gathering place of the 155th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation, which was being honored for its meritorious service.


Among the dead were the deputy commander of the brigade, a major and a lieutenant colonel. The brigade commander and 11 others were wounded. The strikes were carried out using two HIMARS missiles.
