Ukraine adapts infrastructure for F-16, - Ihnat

The speaker of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, said during a telethon that Ukraine is already adapting infrastructure for modern F-16 fighters.

"Adaptation is what will allow it to perform tasks from our runways and stay on our airfields.... The infrastructure for the F-16 in Ukraine and its readiness is a very difficult issue, because it takes years to prepare it thoroughly," the speaker emphasized.

According to Ihnat, the infrastructure for the F-16 in Ukraine is "a very difficult issue. It will take years to prepare it thoroughly.

"The ideal thing today would be to hide it underground, as Iran does. And that's it, to have pure peace," the speaker said.

He added that the infrastructure should be protected by air defense against ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.
