Ukraine loses 30,000 people a month in the war as killed and seriously wounded. This was stated by former Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko on the air of Pryamyi TV channel.


According to him, the government should disclose the real figures of Ukrainian army losses to demonstrate the seriousness of the situation to citizens and motivate them to join the Armed Forces rather than evade mobilization.


"I believe that the government should name the number of dead Ukrainians. I know how much they don't want to and I know how hard it will be to accept. But there is no other way to get millions of those who hide behind various stories that anyone can serve, except me, out of their comfort zone, it is impossible. We must be honest: the 500,000 that is being talked about now is, if divided by months, 30,000 per month, and then we will understand roughly what is happening at the front. We need to tell people the truth, I am sure that Ukrainians deserve to know the truth," Lutsenko said.


It should be noted that the Ukrainian command has not officially confirmed the figures of casualties mentioned by Lutsenko.
