NATO condemns Russia's massive missile attacks and plans to further strengthen Ukraine's air defense

NATO has strongly condemned the missile and drone terror by the Russian occupiers and the attacks on peaceful cities and civilian objects in Ukraine. NATO member states will continue to strengthen the air defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported in a commentary by the NATO press service for RMF FM.

The Alliance views Russia's latest large-scale air attacks as "another demonstration of Putin's attempts to break Ukraine's resolve."

"He will not succeed," the statement emphasized.

NATO noted that "Alliance members have already provided Ukraine with a wide range of air defense systems and intend to further strengthen its defense."

The Alliance also confirmed support for Ukraine's right to self-defense against Russia's aggressive war.

"We will stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes," the document says.

NATO's press service also noted that the bloc is taking further steps to strengthen the Alliance's defense and "is increasing its presence and readiness from the Black to the Baltic Seas."

"There are already more than 10,000 Allied troops in Poland and significant Allied military capabilities, including NATO aircraft, protecting Polish skies," the Alliance told Polish journalists.
