Bulgaria approves transfer of armored vehicles to Ukraine: Parliament ratified agreement

At a regular meeting on Wednesday, the Bulgarian National Assembly ratified an agreement between the Bulgarian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to provide Ukraine with armored vehicles, relevant weapons and spare parts. This is reported by BTA.


This decision was supported by 131 deputies, 49 were against. The ratification was preceded by almost two hours of debate.


Details on the specific equipment and its quantity to be transferred to Ukraine were not specified in the report. The agreement between the Bulgarian and Ukrainian ministries was signed in Sofia on August 8 and in Kyiv on November 13.
