Night attack on Ukraine: 16 UAVs and 1 missile shot down (UPDATED)

Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 18 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, an X-59 guided missile, and S-300 missiles. This was reported by the Air Force Command.


The military says that on the night of November 16, the enemy launched 18 UAVs from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Krasnodar Krai - air defense destroyed 16 targets. Mobile firing groups, fighters and anti-aircraft units were operating.


Also, on the evening of November 15, an X-59 missile was shot down in Poltava region. 


Around midnight, Russians attacked civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv region with S-300 missiles. The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, said that Chuhuiv near Kharkiv was hit, with at least seven airstrikes recorded. The building of an educational institution and a private house were damaged. There were no casualties.


On the morning of November 16, explosions were heard in Starokonstyantinov, Khmelnytsky region.
