US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has arrived in Israel. This was reported by Reuters.
He will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials. It is reported that Blinken will discuss Israel's assistance and deal with the issue of the affected Americans.
"President Biden has sent his top diplomat to the Middle East to demonstrate Washington's continued support for Israel, to secure the release of prisoners, including Americans, and to prevent the spread of war," the publication reports.
According to the agency's sources, he will also meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. They spoke on the phone last week. The publication writes that Abbas supports the West, but not the Palestinians.
