Ukrainian defense forces have liberated part of Opytne near Donetsk over the past week. They are consolidating their positions. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar during a telethon.
"We also had movement in the area of Opytne. The Defense Forces occupied a part of this settlement," said Malyar.
According to her, the Defense Forces had partially occupied all the areas near Novomayorske in Donetsk region (Mariupol direction) during the week.
"Our Armed Forces are now consolidating their positions in those parts and areas where they were successful," she said.
