Russian forces continue to attempt an offensive in the Kupyansk direction, and the situation is also tense in the Lyman sector, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar reports on her Telegram channel. Malyar emphasized that the situation in the east remains difficult.
In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops continue shelling and attempting to strike at infrastructure. Fighting continues, Ukrainian soldiers are destroying the enemy and disrupting its plans.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy is unsuccessfully trying to storm the areas of Serebryansk forestry, Kreminna and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region to dislodge Ukrainian troops.
In the Bakhmut sector, fighting is active, the enemy is using armored vehicles and aircraft in its attacks, trying to prevent the Ukrainian Armed Forces from advancing.
"At the same time, we are gradually advancing even in the face of fierce enemy resistance. The situation on all eastern directions is tense and very dynamic. Therefore, decisions in such a situation must be made carefully, but at the same time quickly," noted Malyar.
The Deputy Minister of Defense emphasized that Ukrainian commanders on the ground analyze every detail and consider possible scenarios to plan their next steps.
