Russia wants to blow up the Zaporizhzhуа nuclear power plant in order to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, as well as to "put pressure on Kyiv to stop the conflict."
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi emphasized this in an interview with the American TV channel NBC News.
Russia wants to blow up the (Zaporizhzhуа) nuclear power plant. Because, as with the Kakhov Dam, they are not interested in security in Ukraine. They constantly need destabilization here, and they want the world to put pressure on Ukraine for the right option to end this conflict," Zelenskyі said.
According to the president, the war is prolonged in a situation where weapons are supplied in small batches. The West should speed up military aid so that Ukraine can win victory over the Russian invaders as soon as possible.
"If military equipment, which is currently on balance with our partners, is handed over to us en masse, we will win faster," the head of state emphasized.
