This time they fired from pneumatic weapons, and earlier stones and burning branches flew from Belarus.

The spokesperson of the Border Service, Arkadiusz Tyvorniuk, reported on the incident: Polish border guards were fired upon from the territory of Belarus for the first time. A projectile fired from the Belarusian side of the border could have killed two people.

The information was published by the Polish publication RMF-24.

The incident at the border became known on June 15, the publication claims. Tyvorniuk explained the details. According to him, the projectile went through the official car: it flew through one side window and flew out the other. Meanwhile, two officers were inside - none of them miraculously got hurt.

It is assumed that the shot was fired from an air rifle. However, the exact type of weapon is unknown - the spokesman only noted that the impact was serious: the projectile had high speed and kinetic energy.

The exact location of the incident is currently unknown. At the same time, it is worth noting that the total length of the Polish-Belarusian border is about 400 km.

There are no messages on Twitter of the Border Service of Poland specifically about this incident. Instead, on June 14, burning branches were reported flying from that direction. One of these cases was captured on video.

In addition, border guards report regular detentions of illegal migrants trying to enter from Belarus. Illegals come from Central and Western Asian countries.

It should be noted that Poland built a 5-meter fence on the border with Belarus. The length of the fence is 200 km (that is, the same length without such protection). Poles laid barbed wire along the upper part of the fence. The border is also equipped with an electronic monitoring system - it detects and identifies moving objects.
