President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyі held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Monday, May 8.

At Stavka, the participants heard information about the consequences of the recent air attacks by the Russian occupiers and how to overcome them. They also discussed the possibilities of strengthening the protection of the population and objects of civil and critical infrastructure.
The participants heard reports about the operational situation at the front and the plans of the Russians for the near future. The commanders of the United Strategic Forces Groupings reported on the course of hostilities in the areas of the front under the responsibility of the Khortytsia, Tavria, Odesa and Pivnich operational strategic groupings.
During the meeting, they analyzed the state of providing the units of the Defense Forces with weapons and ammunition, as well as the state of training and equipping the newly created brigades with personnel and equipment.
Separately, they heard a report on the supply of artillery ammunition and missiles of all types for the needs of the Ukrainian army in the current year.
The meeting of the Headquarters was attended by the head of the OP Andriy Yermak, the head of the GUR Kyrylo Budanov, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, secretary of the NSDC Oleksiy Danilov, commanders of military branches and operational areas. The meeting was also attended by members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of law enforcement agencies and law enforcement agencies.
