The Ukrainian military continues to maintain defense at the front and repulse the attacks of the occupiers. Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of the Armed Forces in the east.

 According to a map from British intelligence, the fiercest fighting continues in the Donetsk region. There, the occupiers are attacking the positions of Ukrainian troops in several directions at once. In particular, active fighting continues in Bakhmut and its surroundings, in Avdiivka and Maryinka.

 The Russians are also trying to move to assaults on the Lyman-Kupian section of the front. Although the advance of the enemy in this direction has not been recorded, the enemy is using artillery to push through the defense of the Armed Forces.

 Local battles continue in other areas. In particular, we are talking about the Kherson, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhуа regions. In addition, the Russian army is shelling populated areas along the front line. Not only military positions, but also civilian objects come under enemy fire.

 It will be recalled that Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Ministry of Defense's GUR, said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine that Ukraine is facing a decisive battle, and in his opinion, the war may end this year.

 At the same time, the commander of the Ground Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, emphasized that in Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military is not only defending itself, but also actively counterattacking.
