Putin responded to Lukashenka's proposal to stop fighting in Ukraine

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will discuss with the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, Minsk's proposal to end hostilities in Ukraine. It will happen next week.

This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmytro Peskov.

"Lukashenka's call to declare a ceasefire in Ukraine will be discussed by the leaders of Russia and Belarus next week," Peskov said.

At the same time, he noted that "nothing changes" for Russia in the context of the so-called "special operation".

"The special military operation (war - ed.) continues, as it is the only means of achieving the goals," Peskov added.

 What Lukashenko offers

We will remind, today the leader of the Belarusian regime, Oleksandr Lukashenko, during his message to the people and parliament of Belarus, proposed to stop hostilities in Ukraine "on both sides".

"I will try to take the risk of proposing to stop hostilities. Many people now, especially in Russia, may say that we already stopped then in Donbas, then the situation was different. But taking into account these conditions, stop hostilities, declare a truce without the right to move, regroup troops on both sides, without the right to transfer weapons, manpower and equipment. Everyone froze," Lukashenko said.

According to Lukashenka, negotiations should begin after that, but "without preconditions."
