The armed forces of Ukraine pushed back the Russian mercenaries "Wagner" from one of the supply lines of Bakhmut.

 This is stated in the intelligence review of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.

 Fighting is reported to be continuing in Bakhmut, although Russian shelling has decreased compared to recent weeks.

 "One of the key achievements of the latest Ukrainian operations was probably the pushing back of the Russian fighters of the Wagner group from road 0506," the review says.

 This secondary road became a critical supply line for Ukrainian defenders. Previously, "Wagner" was located at a distance of several hundred meters from it.

 It is also noted that on March 26, Russian media reported that "Wagner" had taken full control of the AZOM factory complex north of the center of Bakhmut, but that territory is likely to still be under fighting, as it has been for the past two weeks.

 "Since Wagner has confirmed that it has released at least 5,000 fighters recruited from prisons (who won back the set term. - Ed.), the shortage of personnel is likely to hinder Russian offensive efforts in this sector," the review says.

 Earlier it was reported that the Russian troops suffered significant losses in armored vehicles during attempts to surround Avdiivka and did not make significant progress there.
