During the opening of the regular meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin said that today nine countries are committed to providing Kyiv with more than 150 Leopard tanks.
"The coalition of countries providing Leopard tanks (Ukraine - ed.) continues to grow. Nine countries are now committed to providing more than 150 Leopard tanks," Austin said.
On March 15, US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin opened another meeting of the contact group on defense issues of Ukraine.
During the speech, he said that Rammstein, which is held online, will focus on coordinating long-term support. In particular, the allies will "look for ways" for new supplies of ammunition and air defense systems to Ukraine, and will also focus on the issue of increasing the production of ammunition.
