Johnson called on Great Britain to provide Typhoon fighter jets and more Challenger tanks to Ukraine

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called on the United Kingdom to provide Typhoon fighters and more Challenger tanks to Ukraine. This is reported by Sky News.

"We have over 100 Typhoon jets. We have over 100 Challenger tanks. The best single use of any of these items is to deploy them now to protect Ukrainians, not least because that's how we guarantee our own long-term security." Johnson said.

In his opinion, such assistance to Ukraine "will help push Putin away and make the world safer."

"Now is the time to give Ukrainians exactly what they need to finish the job," he added.

We will remind, on February 8, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived in Great Britain, where he was met at the airport by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
