The Pentagon sees no signs that Belarus is preparing to enter the war

The US Defense Ministry sees no signs that Belarus is preparing to go to war against Ukraine, despite its participation in joint exercises with the Russian Federation.

This was stated by a high-ranking representative of the Pentagon.

"You know, we know that the Russians and Belarusians are going to conduct joint exercises. We don't see any signs that Belarus intends to enter the conflict," he said.

"We simply believe that this is a continuation of exercises between Belarusians and Russians. That's all," the Pentagon representative added.

On Sunday, Russia and Belarus are planning joint exercises for aviation units, which will take place on the territory of Belarus.

The training is planned from January 16 to February 1, with the involvement of Russian and Belarusian forces, which are part of the regional grouping of troops.
