President of Poland Andrzej Duda is convening a meeting of the National Security Council today, January 9. The Polish leader plans to discuss the partners' policy towards Ukraine with the ministers.
This was announced by the head of the National Security Bureau of Poland Jacek Siver on Twitter.
"This afternoon, President Andrzej Duda invited the Prime Minister and ministers to a meeting at the National Security Bureau. The President will want to discuss the current security situation and the policy of allies related to the war in Ukraine," he said.
It will be recalled that the mass media recently reported that Poland is considering the possibility of transferring Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that his country will not hand over tanks on its own, but is negotiating the creation of a coalition that would be able to deal with this issue.
