Germany has no "in-principle objections" to following the USA in providing Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine, but it does not currently have free systems to send. This was stated by the official representative of the German government, Steffen Hebestreit, Reuters reports.

It should be noted that Berlin previously agreed to deploy three Patriot air defense systems in eastern Poland to help protect the airspace of its NATO ally. At the same time, Warsaw insisted on transferring the complexes to Ukraine. In response, German officials said that this required the consent of the Allies.
