The head of the Ministry of Energy Herman Galushchenko said that today, as a result of a massive missile attack in Ukraine, about nine generation facilities and a power substation were damaged. He announced this on the air of a nationwide telethon.
About nine generation facilities are damaged. We are currently still investigating the damage. Accordingly, the substations that transmit electricity were damaged, which caused the limitation of the production of nuclear generation facilities," said Galushchenko.
According to him, energy workers will modify the situation to increase production in the near future.
"The nuclear generation is already under load, we are doing everything possible to restore the electricity supply as soon as possible," the minister said.
