As part of another exchange of prisoners, 20 more people were freed from the Russian Federation, among them 14 servicemen of the Armed Forces, 4 soldiers of the Territorial Defense, one employee of the National Guard and one serviceman of the Naval Forces, informed the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.
"Ours are returning home... We managed to free 20 people from captivity. These are 20 stories of Ukrainian heroes, 14 - soldiers of the Armed Forces, 4 fighters of the TRO, one National Guardsman and a serviceman of the Navy," Yermak wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, among those released from captivity are people who were held by the Russians in the colony in Olenivka (Donetsk region), as well as in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.
They are currently undergoing a medical examination.
"Everyone is happy to be in their native land. They were waiting for them at home. We will return everyone. There will be no other way," Yermak added.
