They hit further than HIMARS: Ukraine is discussing the supply of missiles with the United States

Ukraine's ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova, said in an interview with CNN that Kyiv is discussing with the United States the supply of missiles with a longer range than the HIMARS salvo fire systems.

"We have always said that we need weapons with a long range. Now the discussions continue," said Markarova. "We hope that the United States will provide us with weapons. We will show not only their effective use, but also how they will use them responsibly."

Answering the question whether Ukraine will give the United States the right to control the selection of targets in case of delivery of missiles with a flight range of more than 100 km, the ambassador noted: "We always work closely with our partners. As you can see, our defense ministers and commanders in chief hold regular talks "We have meetings at the Ramstein base where we discuss and share a lot of information. I don't think there's any misunderstanding between us about what we're doing."
